UPDATE: from the last facebook post - during the new rules discussion.
So I will make this deal with all of
you. Our next event is "Rogue Nations" If the game goes off smooth,
players help out with the chrono, and you spot check each other, I will
leave the FPS alone. if guys are complaining about overshooting, and hot
guns, then some form of FPS and BPS rules will INSTANTLY be enforced.
For now, the FPS will remain 280 across the board for all markers.
THE NEW ENFORCEMENT:
So after much deliberation, we believe we have come to the solution to full auto. We will enforce new speed limits based on the marker in use. Pumps will be 295 FPS. Mechanical Semi Auto, and Mechanical response will be 280 FPS. Full auto and Ramp capable markers will be 270 FPS.
This means any marker capable of going to full auto at the flip of a switch, or any marker that goes into ramp mode by the third trigger pull, will have to chrono at the lower speed. Simply playing on semi will not allow you the higher speed.
Some new measures we plan to implement will be. A) adding a fleet of hand held chronos for field referees. B) moving the standard chrono location to a different location where it is monitored better. C) tagging markers that have passed chrono with a special marking device. D) Employing a referee to work the Chrono station ALL DAY. E) enforcing mandatory bans on players who are caught utilizing a non compliant marker.
It is with much regret that I find myself enforcing these new rules. We at ASC pride ourselves on our values of Honor, Integrity and Skill. It takes but one unscrupulous player to change our operation, but we do this with the player safety in mind.
Thank you.
