A mis print regarding July 24th and 25th

For all those reading the team websites, I would like to snip a nasty rumor in the bud before it starts.

THERE WAS NO FREE PLAY AT ASC ON JULY 24TH OR 25TH. This was a mis post by a player on their private website. What they were referring to was OPEN PLAY. regular admission fees did apply all weekend.

WE would never offer free play on a weekend that there was a scenario at another field. ESPECIALLY not one we support, and was being produced by a team ASC supports and considers to be a home team.

New safety measures

UPDATE: from the last facebook post - during the new rules discussion.

So I will make this deal with all of
you. Our next event is "Rogue Nations" If the game goes off smooth,
players help out with the chrono, and you spot check each other, I will
leave the FPS alone. if guys are complaining about overshooting, and hot
guns, then some form of FPS and BPS rules will INSTANTLY be enforced.
For now, the FPS will remain 280 across the board for all markers.

THE NEW ENFORCEMENT:

An Apology

I would like to extend an Apology to my friends "The Rubber Duckies" paintball team. There was an incident at our NAM game that was questioned by my friends Misfit, Scooch, and EW Rabbit. I should have handled the situation differently. I am sorry and should have done a better job. Please accept my public apology, and be sure I am taking the necessary steps to ensure that it does not happen again.

Thank you.

ASC welcomes Smokin Hogs BBQ

Hey everyone, Albany Scenario Club would like to welcome Smokin Hogs Barbecue to our staging area, as our newest vendor!

We are hoping to create a relationship with more and more vendors, to join our standing relationship with Coopers Cave.

eventually we plan to fill our staging area with food, gear, and paint vendors, as our attendance continues to grow. Soon we will not just have a great field and club, but we will be a paintball destination for all players!

A Big 2009 Thank you

It has been a long road and the last 32 weeks have been grueling for us at Albany Scenario Club. While the season is not over, we have a few thank you's that we would like to share, as the season comes to an end.

Lets start off with Tooch... Yeah I don't know what to say here, you talked me into this, and while we don't always see eye to eye, you make sure that we always have the players in mind first. You keep the ball rolling with your smack talking and your imagination. We may have our days, but we do it for the love of the sport and our field.
